One of the aims of this event is to provide a venue where photography centres from all over the world can take part in intercultural talks on photography and be enriched with a variety of management models. To this end, contributions to the Seminar have come from public, private and even combined funding organizations; innovative exhibition institutions, some of them only recently created; and traditional, more conservative institutions.
This philosophy of diversity also includes the audience, since this event is oriented to those who are close to the world of photography.
A wide-ranging audience filled up Almería's Archaeological Museum auditorium on the first day.
