I International Meeting of Photography Centres. Andalusian Centre of Photografhy

Cultural networks have played an increasingly important role in Europe's cultural policy due to the international dimension of our society has gradually acquired.

To respond to the new challenges, individuals and groups need to use work methods that will facilitate and accelerate the transfer of knowledge. This is where Information and Communication Technology comes into play by connecting actors from anywhere in the world.

Cultural networks are a cross-cutting, adaptable tool for cultural and international cooperation that enables ideas, needs and information to be exchanged.

International Network of Photography Centres

Therefore, the Andalusian Centre of Photography seeks to set up an International Network of Photography Centres

that will bring the photography centres that take part in this event into contact with each other, and also any other organization or individual related to the photo industry. The network will provide a broader view of the map of photography centres worldwide and enable us to obtain an X-ray of this contemporary artistic line.

The purpose of the International Network of Photography Centres is to keep the intercultural cooperation arising from this first edition of the International Meeting of Photography Centres alive and on-going until the next edition, planned for 2010. The venue has not yet been decided.

The Forum and Documents sections are the tools devised to encourage the participation of all of the actors concerned. Visitors can use them to show their literature and exchange experiences with other visitors.
